Now allows \ & ? / etc in the reference but the reference still has to be unique.

The VCATracer program now requires a daily control shape to be run. This control shape is also uploaded to the web site so that the lab can check that the tracer is being correctly maintained.

When the program starts for the first time on that day, then the user is asked to trace the control shape. This should be the calibration jog if it is available and if not then it should be a sturdy frame.
